Facebook app for Android made faster
Finally, Facebook has kept the promise of improving the formal app for the Android and iOS platform. The social media company has trashed its HTML5 based app and unveiled a new one with lots of native code. Users can see the difference of Facebook app on the Android Smartphone’s. The latest Facebook app improves the loading time and finally delivers the smooth user experience.
The Facebook Blog highlighted, "Today, we're releasing a new version of Facebook for Android that's been rebuilt in native code to improve speed and performance. To support the unique complexity of Facebook stories across devices, we're moving from a hybrid native/webview to pure native code, allowing us to optimize the Facebook experience for faster loading, new user interfaces, disk cache, and so on" .
Plagued by the HTML5 code, the formal Facebook app was condemned previously for being slow, and a resource hog. But now with the help of this new facebook app, users can quickly open the photos   and can speedily hit like or post a comment about it. On the top of the timeline page is the Fresh Stories bar which displays collected number of stories. For Android developers, Facebook will keep on adding more native code and improving the user experience with the app. The main motive is to make the app faster, smoother and feature-rich. Users can easily download the new Facebook for Android app from the Google Play Store.
